Naples
December 2011, before Christmas. We started with two days on Miami Beach, then drove here in the rental car. Stayed at the Hilton — very nice and close to the beach. We went to the beach often and were marveled at the infrastructure, all those wooden elevated walkways. Most of the trip was shopping. Jungle Erv's airboat tour was amazing: we did the whole tour and got to the sea.

We went often. The wooden elevated walkways over the dunes were impressive — so much infrastructure.
