This website is a personal project. I make absolutely no commercial use of any kind of this website. It is not operated as a business, does not sell products or services, does not carry paid advertising, and is not used to generate revenue.

APIs and data sources
Some metadata, images, and maps on this site are loaded from third-party services. Those providers retain their rights in their data and branding. This site is not endorsed or certified by any of them. Where a provider asks for attribution or a required notice, it appears on relevant pages and is summarized below.
TMDB (The Movie Database)
Movie metadata and posters may come from TMDB (opens in a new tab). This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. Use of TMDB materials is subject to TMDB’s terms and attribution requirements.
Open Library
Book metadata and covers may come from Open Library (opens in a new tab). Open Library is a project of the Internet Archive.
Wikidata
Film and book award / accolade data and some Wikipedia link resolution may use Wikidata (opens in a new tab). Structured data from Wikidata is available under CC0 (opens in a new tab). Credit is appreciated and shown where award data appears.

“More info” / Wikipedia links point to articles on Wikipedia (opens in a new tab). Wikipedia text is typically available under Creative Commons licenses; this site links to Wikipedia pages rather than reproducing article text. Wikipedia® is a registered trademark of the Wikimedia Foundation.
Unsplash
Some trip list cover photos may come from the Unsplash (opens in a new tab) API. Those covers are hotlinked from Unsplash’s CDN (the original image URL) — this site does not re-host or store Unsplash image files. When a cover is chosen via the API, use is reported to Unsplash’s download endpoint as required. Photographer name and Unsplash are credited with links on the public travel list (and summarized here). Use of Unsplash materials is subject to the Unsplash License (opens in a new tab) and API guidelines (opens in a new tab). Stop photos uploaded to this site are separate and stored in this site’s media bucket.
OpenStreetMap & Leaflet
Maps may use OpenStreetMap (opens in a new tab) data (© OpenStreetMap contributors) and the Leaflet (opens in a new tab) library. Admin place search may use Google Places (opens in a new tab) when configured, otherwise Nominatim (opens in a new tab). Trip pages may offer Google Maps / GPX export so visitors can open the same places in their own apps. Map tiles, geodata, and geocoding remain subject to their respective licenses and terms. This site is not affiliated with Google.
IMDb, Goodreads & marketplace ratings
Links to IMDb or Goodreads (when present) are outbound references only. Community scores shown next to my personal rating may come from TMDB, IMDb (via OMDb when configured), Open Library, and/or Google Books. Those scores belong to their respective platforms; this site does not scrape prohibited sources for content and is not affiliated with them. My star rating is always my own opinion.
Google Books
Some book community ratings may come from the Google Books API (opens in a new tab). Google and Google Books are trademarks of Google LLC.
OMDb (optional)
When an OMDb API key is configured, film community ratings from IMDb may be fetched via OMDb (opens in a new tab). OMDb is not affiliated with IMDb.
