Cariló – Pinamar
The northern Buenos Aires coast — Cariló, Valeria del Mar, Pinamar — as a week, not a single stay. We went more than once; the last family week was January 2012, in the cabañas at Puerto Hamlet in Cariló. Days were the beaches: Cariló through the pines, quieter Valeria, Pinamar's wider strip. A couple of clubs whose names I no longer have; UFO Point in January was too full of wild twenty-something parties. I came back with friends in 2021 and stayed in a rental house in Cariló. Griller in Cariló is still there — worth going.

Where we usually stayed in Cariló: cabañas in the pines, a short walk to the beach. The last family week.

Quieter, wider, more family. We used the beaches here as much as Cariló's — another regular of the week.

Low-key village between the pines and the sea. Recommend it when Pinamar feels too much.

The busier beach of the three. We still spent days here — more paradores, more people, still the same sea.

Still there. American grill / lounge in the pines — a Cariló recommendation.
